Jordan Crosby Lee is an Assistant Director of the Office of Career and Professional Development. He has earned three degrees from Wake Forest including a BA in English, an MA in English, and a JD. Prior to attending graduate school, Jordan taught high school in San Antonio, Texas. His experience there forged a passion for mentoring and teaching. While considering a career in academia, Jordan attended graduate school and earned his MA in English in 2013. Noting that the field of law appeared to be a space where language directly translated to substantive action, Jordan chose to apply his training in critical reading, writing, and analysis to the law. He graduated from Wake Forest Law in 2016 with multiple trial advocacy honors earned during his time on the National Trial Team (Robert Goldberg Award, Order of Barristers, and other specific competition-related awards).

After becoming licensed to practice law in Texas, Jordan worked as an associate attorney for Plunkett, Griesenbeck & Mimari, a full-service litigation firm in San Antonio, Texas. There he worked on a variety of litigation cases spanning multiple practice areas. However, his love for Wake Forest, teaching, mentoring, and the law quickly led him back to Mother So Dear. As an Assistant Director of the OCPD, he is able to combine his passion for teaching and the law with his diverse career background to assist Wake Forest’s budding attorneys to define their professional identities, explore career options, and identify and pursue their career goals.
