Prior to joining the Wake Forest Law community, Professor Plott spent two and a half years practicing law in various public services settings, including Legal Aid of North Carolina, Inc. Professor Plott made the transition to libraries in 2022 and has served as a Law Librarian at the Wake Forest University School of Law since August 2023. She uses what she learned in practice to help the first-year law students in her legal research classes develop the skills necessary to be effective, efficient legal researchers. Professor Plott is passionate about student wellbeing and enjoys mentoring students in addition to her classroom responsibilities.
When she's not in the law library, Professor Plott can be found reading and spending time outside with her family, which includes her partner Rob, her adorable son Fred, and her mischievous three year old Jack Russell Terrier Swirl.
